Vote for the Ultimate Breakroom Winner!

July 5, 2016

Back in May, we launched a contest to help one business win the ultimate breakroom, a destination where employees can relax, refresh and collaborate with one another. Now, the five finalists have been chosen and it's time for you to cast your vote and get your chance to win supplies for your own breakroom!

Here are our 5 finalists and what they had to say about why they need the Ultimate Breakroom. For the full essays and to vote once per day now through July 16, visit

Braun Northwest, Inc. – Chehalis, Washington

Our work helps save lives, and we deserve a nice breakroom for all the effort we put in day in and day out. Our current breakroom could be confused with a prison facility. Please help us get out of break room prison!

C.H. Reed, Inc. – Hanover, Pennsylvania

Oh breakroom how we love you / You hold our morning brew.
You're the center of our universe / Our love for you is true
Alas the budget has no room / For buying what we need.
The money goes for other things / Despite how much we plead.

Concrete Pipe and Precast – Jessup, Maryland

Our plant is full of hard working guys, some of who arrive at 3AM, and they need a place where they can truly take a break. If our guys had a true "Break"room I know they would feel more appreciated, revitalized and ready to give 100% throughout the day! Thank you!

Kemper House – Strongsville, Ohio

Caring for older adults with memory impairments, while being extremely rewarding, can also be very stressful. The reward of knowing how we impact the lives of our residents and their families is gratifying, but our employees need an opportunity to recharge their batteries.

Lizardos Engineering Associates, P.C – Mineola, NY

Our breakroom is not one to linger in. I grab a cup of coffee from the Keurig and run out as fast as I can. It was done cheaply when we moved in 1995 and other than wiping the counters and sweeping the dingy tile floor, nothing has changed.

Made up your mind? To vote, visit daily now through July 16!

No purchase necessary. Ends 7/16. Must be 18 or older. Full rules:
